This mild mannered gentleman arrived from Brazil in February 2005. He offers true, old world style and baroque foundation bloodlines. Xerox (pronounced ‘cher rocks’) has movement to take your breath away. He’s like a Ferrari that lowers his hind chassis and drops it into overdrive!  He’s built to perform but it’s his personality that we love best. .  He has been started under saddle by Jessica Gaytan-Thornburg and was already being ridden by a novice 9 year old rider when he was just 3 years old!! (See photo below).  We believe these photos tell it all about his temperament. Now Xerox is focusing on a show career in Dressage, but we still enjoy him as our pleasure/trail horse and professional model. As they say, a photo is worth a thousand words....

Xerox is Smokey Cream in color.  Smokey Cream is a black based horse with two cream dilute genes.  You are probably familiar with the two more common forms of double dilute horses - a Cremello (double dilute on chestnut base) and Perlino (double dilute on bay base).  For more information on the double dilute colors, please refer to the following link for more information:

Xerox had his first foal crop in 2007...and they exceeded our greatest expectations! His first filly (out of Diamante II) was born on March 23rd and is a GORGEOUS smokey black with long legs, a big thick body and the personality of a people lover. His second foal  arrived on May 2, 2007. Out of Lar Bravia, this smokey black colt (1/2 brother to Balitor) is another LONG legged foal with a calm, easy going demeanor.  Again...an exceptional sweetheart!  We couldn’t be more pleased with these arrivals.  His third foal, a filly out of La Luna de Bravio, is now residing in BC Canada.  Now we look forward to the 2008 foal crop out of Guindaleza, Diamante and Maryss Elvira.  Many exciting possibilities exist with these particular crosses including the possibilities of pearls or a double dilute!

Xerox had the privilege of participating in a fun filled professional photo shoot in November of 2006. The beaches of Summerland and the mountains of Ojai made for a breathtaking backdrop to our lovely stallions.  (Balitor also modeled for the crowd of photographers that gathered from locations around the world!)  We look forward to seeing our boys in future calendars, magazine ads & articles, as well as hanging on the walls of artist galleries.
