Sommer Ranch Andalusians is proud to present and stand for 2008, three outstanding representatives of the Andalusian stallion in America today. Xerox HM is our pure Portuguese (also known as a PSL or Lusitano) and Balitor is our Pure Spanish Portuguese (PSP). We will also be standing the bay (PRE) Bravio son, Rioso in the later part of the 2008 breeding season..
A fourth Andalusian stallion, Del Amor, was our Pure Spanish stallion (which is also known as a PRE or Pura Raza Espanola in Spain). Del Amor is sire to many of our Sommer Ranch horses. We congratulate his new owners, Deidre Teasley and Matt McLaughlin of Texas. We look forward to seeing Del Amor in exhibitions all across the country. We have maintained a link for Del Amor as a reference stallion, and as sire to our up and coming PRE stallion, Zorin. We will be standing Zorin to the public as a mature stallion in 2009.
We think you will enjoy the diversity and uniqueness of our stallions. Each one a jewel in their own right. We invite you to check out each link and discover what makes each horse so special.
And finding yourself confused about what makes an “Andalusian” an Andalusian? You are not alone... there are individual groups that focus on one particular segment of the Andalusian breed in America. For further clarification, see our link “Andalusian Name” for a copy of the description as found on the International Andalusian & Lusitano Horse Association (IALHA) website.
