Sommer Ranch offers it’s own premier quality Andalusian horses available for purchase. Normally our horses sell at a young age, but occasionally we can offer horses of breeding/riding age. We also offer an on site consignment service for clients wherein we are pleased to handle all aspects of the sale & showing process, including photography, video and DVD rendering. Sommer Ranch is also proud to offer a Nationwide Sales Referral Service for both pure and partbred Andalusians. Occasionally we are even able to offer a few non-Andalusian horses for sale through this program. BIG Purebred PRE Black Stallion

If you are looking for a big, true black stallion (inscribed & eligible for revision with Spain) with the personality of a lap dog...then you have to check out this handsome guy. At two years old he is already about 16h with huge bone, correct conformation and a very laid back temperament. He has been saddled, bridled and ground driven. He ponies off another horse or off our Polaris Ranger (Quad). He has been turned out with pregnant mares and he is very respectful of their space. He is very people oriented and will walk away from the herd to get some human attention. We believe he will make an outstanding stallion/show/parade/companion horse.

This gorgeous new arrival at Sommer Ranch is out of the famous Palomino Pearl mare, Guindaleza R and by our double dilute, Smokey Cream stallion, Xerox. DNA testing will conclude whether this unique champagne colored colt is actually a double dilute or a pearl. Either way, he is very special!

“OMG”.....our jaws dropped when we saw this pretty gal turned out at 16 HOURS of age!! (See photo on left) We’ve never seen such action on such a youngster before!! This gal can MOVE! We will be eagerly awaiting DNA testing to see if she inherited her father’s Pearl gene and/or her mother and father’s chestnut gene. Both rare genes for the PRE horse.

Arista has been DNA tested to carry this rare pearl gene. She was born with straight, long legs and one of the prettiest heads - definitely very feminine. We are very excited to have our very first pure Lusitano foal born at Sommer Ranch. And as icing on the cake, this handsome guy is a double dilute! Sire is the impressive Palomino stallion, Mistral, and mother is the imported smokey cream (carries chestnut) mare, Zebra (full sister to our Xerox HM). This colt will go far in the show ring or a future foundation stallion. This double dilute colt is a rare find in the United States.
