Sommer Ranch offers it’s own premier quality Andalusian horses available for purchase. Normally our horses sell at a young age, but occasionally we can offer horses of breeding/riding age. We also offer an on site consignment service for clients wherein we are pleased to handle all aspects of the sale & showing process, including photography, video and DVD rendering. This page contains photos and descriptions of horses available for purchase at our ranch right now. 

Sommer Ranch is also proud to offer a Nationwide Sales Referral Service for both pure and partbred Andalusians. Occasionally we are even able to offer a few non-Andalusian horses for sale through this program.   • Arrived on May 6, 2008....this Andalusian filly  is by Rioso and out of Luna del Bravio, a pearl carrying Bravio daughter.   Arista has been DNA tested to carry this rare pearl gene.  She was born with straight, long legs and one of the prettiest heads - definitely very feminine.  And she is already displaying a very proud, elevated trot. She should be quite the mover.

  • We are very excited to have our very first pure Lusitano foal born at Sommer Ranch. And as icing on the cake, this handsome guy is a double dilute!   Sire is the impressive Palomino stallion, Mistral, and mother is the imported smokey cream (carries chestnut) mare, Zebra (full sister to our Xerox HM).   This colt will go far in the show ring or a future foundation stallion.   This double dilute colt is a rare find in the United States.   We plan to keep this stallion as a future Sommer Ranch sire.

    • This beefy beauty had a very rough start to her life.  Orphaned at birth she immediately attached to us for parental guidance and care. This loving and most adorable filly is naturally curious and brave. We also find her to be extremely intelligent. She has DNA tested positive for the pearl gene and we plan to add her to our herd of broodmares and riding horses.
